Student loan cronyism

A reporter with reveals more government-finance cronyism operating through a “private” organization called Sallie Mae. Two problems here: young people have been propagandized to believe they must spend four years in college (many stay for five or six years “working” on a diploma) to get a good job, and the federal government makes it easy for them to go into excessive debt to attend–not to mention that most students don’t get their monies’ worth for the time they spend.
